H&M Ferman is a family business that has been importing and distributing automotive spare parts since 1975. Hasmot started working with truck and bus rear-vision mirrors as an Original Equipment (O.E.) supplier in 1984. Satisfied clients include Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Isuzu, Hino, Volvo, Scania and many others.

Hasmot started to modify imported mirrors to comply with local legislation and government standards. Requests by several large customers for more sophisticated designs mobilised the Hasmot team to design and manufacture their own highly advancedaerodynamic, European style mirrors.

Hasmot was commissioned by Isuzu Australia to design and supply a wholly original, fully electric rear vision mirror.components up to several kilograms no project is too big for the team at Hasmot. All final assembly and quality control is handled in their recently upgraded on-site assembly facility, headquartered in Sydney.

Hasmotek recently acquired a Melbourne branch in order to overcome transportation logistics and increase their distribution.

Hasmot’s production facility is agile and highly flexible, allowing efficient large and small scale production runs according to customers’ demands. Constant innovation is at the core of Hasmot’s competitiveness. “We always look at our competitors’ and our own products and processes and ask ourselves how things could be done better”, says Michael Ferman, Managing Director. Regular visits to tradeshows around the world mean the latest technology and thinking is incorporated into Hasmot’s product range.

Hasmot serves the Australian market through its branches in Sydney and Melbourne, both with extensive warehousing facilities. Hasmot’s management team have set their sights on overseas markets to grow the company. A joint venture in Brazil is spearheading overseas expansion, while a new satellite office in Dallas, Texas is responsible for procurement and the development of the American export market.
